Brown show clothes with a bay horse?

I am getting back into western showing after taking a couples years off, and to my dismay my show clothes no longer fit. I usually would show in black with red or blue accents. I found a lilac and silver with chocolate brown bottom horsemanship jacket I fell in love with, and chocolate suede chaps. The problem I am having is, would this outfit look ok on a bay horse and a dark oil saddle set? Am I getting too much brown? On the other hand I was thinking it would help hide leg movement, but I know too many shades can look bad. What color/s saddle blanket would you suggest? Thanks for your input!
