I dont plan on working all my life...?

It seems like you are on the right track and have goals, something many people your age don't even consider. IMO there is no get rich quick formula, your best bet is to follow tried and true methods. Continue your education, if possible go for a graduate degree get the best grades that you possibly can attain. This will secure you a good job with real opportunities where you can grow professionally and financially. If you can become a skilled professional an M.D., dentist etc. you will be virtually guaranteed a large recession proof income for life.I hope this helps, keep trying and never quit no matter what road you choose!
