Are the movie and the book like the same?

ok well i have too do like a book report on the chronicles of narnia the lion the witch and the wardrobe and i was just wondering if the book and the movie are the exact same because i cant get the book anywhere and i dont wanna read it. so do the movie and the book have the same plot is everything about the movie and the book the same?
