Do too many people treat electoral politics like a game?

This is as serious as it gets. The next president that we elect is going to walk into some really tough situations, and how they handle things could be the difference between success and failure. Instead of addressing those issues, too many people from the ground up from Y!A trolls to campaign strategists and pundits are running around silly issues trying to score points.
