Do you think that the meeting at 10 Downing Street is hypocritical...?

I agree with 'danrathe'. For the last 10 years or so I think we have constantly been taken for a ride by our government and generally by people at the TOP of society. They don't really care about anything but keeping themselves at the top of the pile in life. They would just love us to get rid of our cars (large or small). Stay at home and shop on-line. Just keep off the roads and vote at appropriate times and then shut up. Who do we see on TV? Politicians, celebrities (the ruder and more ridiculous the celebs are, the more everyone seems to love them. Oh God, I could go on and on. I'm sure you get the gist of what I'm saying. Barak wants to save America, Gordon would like everyone to think he's saving the world and the rest are laughing at Gordon. China, India are milking the rest of the world by producing everything cheaper and nastier and Russia is busy buying property all over Europe. Globalisation is all that matters.
