Help - My boss sent this email out after I turned in my resignation - what does he mean by it?

I can see where you get that feeling...but trying to pull emotion out of text is always tough. It seems a little over the top to me, and somewhat disconnected (if you were such a good "friend", then why would your co-workers need to work extra hard to make you comfortable?) In any event, glad to hear you are making some better cash. I'd just leave this in the rearview and move forward.
