What can i do to get my horse to lounge?

lunging can be a difficult task to do. i would not suggest free lunging in a large area because they can easily get distracted. if i were you i would look around for a lung-line or a longer lead-rope. my mare would do this to me but only because she was lazy and wanted to hook up. i learned that the best way to have her continue lunging was when she stepped in towards me i took me hand that had the line in it and pointed in the direction that i was asking her to travel and take my driving hand and ask her to continue going forward. i hope this helps
